Palm's Mexican Fiesta

My little Annie has gotten so big lately. She is looking like a 4 year old these days.

I remember buying this house because we would live across the park. It's so fun walking over and enjoying it on nights like these.

With David's dual immersion program, sometimes we get to experience Hispanic Heritage Fiestas. This was a fun one.

I'm not the best and teaching my kid about Hispanic heritage because we moved to the United States when I was 6 and my mom didn't really celebrate stuff like that.

We never did Dia de los Muertos, so now that David has had to do projects in school, it's been a great learning opportunity for our family.

Playing loteria

They had a really fun Mexican Heritage day. They had booths, food, and the High School Mariachi. I hope David wants to join the mariachi when he's older. Maybe he can play guitar. The girls could be the dancers.

Some alone time with my Lilah. This girl likes to go shopping for her one on one time with mom. She's such a chatter box these days. Like non stop. She better be a chatter box when she's a teenager also!

After some shopping, we went to In N Out for lunch.

I've been reading alot more books lately. I want my kids to be strong readers and all go to college so I'm trying to be a good example.

The kids started going to Kung Fu. David has been loving it so much. Lilah just does it for social hour. It's a pricey extracurricular activity so we shall see how long they last.

My kids LOVE going to Grandma and Papa's house for dinner with the Glausers. We usually do a service activity while we're there.

We don't live around any Stewart cousins and the only cousins their age are in Texas so it's nice for my kids to have Glauser cousins.

Marcia's house is always so welcoming. She always has treats stocked in her pantry for the little ones, and she has a little table for them. I hope I'm this type of grandma.

Lilah doesn't have many friends in our area because she goes to school in Perris. I am so grateful for our little neighbor across the street who likes to play with Lilah. I try my best to buy fun toys so our neighbors will want to come over and play. On this day, I had the girls make their own pizzas.

We had our other little neighbor over, Olivia.

My front door neighbor also had a little baby, Cassandra. We were playing outside, and she asked me to hold her and I stole her for 15 minutes so she could get a little break.

It was fun to get baby snuggles

David is always so excited about "Jennifer Conference" because he gets to eat crepes.

It's rare that Mike and I have a day off together, so when we do, we always go out and do something fun together.

On this day, we went out to the beach and ended up eating shave ice.

After the beach, we stopped at this fun park that I've been wanting to visit for a while.

The kids had their bikes so they were able to use the skate park.

The beach also had a fun playground. San Diego is so kid friendly!

The kids never tire of the beach. They always have so much fun.

We are so grateful to live only a 2 hour drive away from the beach.

Such a great day together as a family!
