4th of July

My friend Robin invited us over for a 4th of July party

After the party, we went to Stewart park to watch the fireworks show.

Some one was doing free balloon art.

They ended up doing a drone show this year which was even more fun.

We've been doing Fourth of July with the Wilsons for a couple of years now and we love it!

Happy Fourth!

Our library has been amazing this year!

So many fun activities to do all summer long

Freddy and his family joined us for the festivities

David sometimes has big feelings and he was being such a little butt and wouldn't get out of the funk so we had to leave a little early.

I'm still in primary presidency as second counselor which has been fun since all of my kids are in primary right now.

Our favorite baby sitter is leaving on a mission to Arizona. We will miss her so much!

Happy, kind kids is my way of winning the life lotto!

Our poor Butter has not been feeling very well. He is 12 years old now and has been such a great dog.

He is having a hard time standing on his own now and we'll find him in the same spot for hours. I think he's in too much pain now and his time might be slowly coming to an end.

Most of our summer days have been spent at the library. I am so grateful because sometimes keeping the kids entertained is so exhausting.

The kids love stealing my phone and taking selfies.

I love waking up next to a tiny body so much! They are so squishy and cuddly. Annie will not kick in the night either and she doesn't make any noise so I love her sleeping next to me.

We purchased a new water slide and had our friends, the Wilsons over to play.

Annie and Owen are the cutest little best friends and they just LOVE each other.

I've been on a reading kick and have been loving this new hobbies. Although it means I've been doing a lot less DIY in my home lately.

Another fun day at the library learning about reptiles.

Annie is fearless! She is not scared and loves to touch all creatures.

We went and got some Bundt cakes for my ministering teachers. I've been doing a good job at remembering to do it each month so far. It's fun when you have fun girls to visit.

Las Vegas

The kids and I went to Las Vegas for Ariel's baptism. I love that now that they are getting older that we can do more outings together.

They were super helpful even unloading the car.

The kids love hotels and airplane rides. They better get good paying careers for when they're older.

Our hotel had a swimming pool which was so stressful to do on my own because Annie thinks she can take her floaties off.

The kids love a hotel swimming pool.

Vacation mode. We got a hotel that had a little kitchenette and bought too much food because I was worried about the kids being hungry but we had way too much stuff haha.

Vacation breakfast was delicious and we only had minor messes.

We made it to the baptism

After the baptism, they had a birthday party for Ariel

In the evening, we invited them to come over and swim.

We got them worn out just in time for bed time.

Now time for dinner and movies.

Annie needed to comfort Julian because he was sad about staying in nursery.

And then we came home and Annie was ready to play with her toys as always.

Library time with my Annie. Our days at the library are slowly coming to an end.

This girl is so sassy with all of the kids and is always fighting so we've been trying not to go too often.

We've been having such a great time this summer. I've been trying to find lots of things for the kids to do. Here we are at a splash pad in Moreno Valley.

I love when the girls play together.

I started teaching at a new place at work. It's an old SNF. Remind me to die young so I never have to live in one of these and burden my family with the paycheck of paying for a SNF.

It was my buddies birthday at work. I love celebrating the people I love for their birthdays.

David is such a hard worker. Lilah is lazy and never wants to help out around the house so David is the only one that ever has chore money. Here he is learning about money trying to buy a toy.

Love this hard working kid!
