Happy 4th birthday, David!

David woke up so excited to turn 4! He was ready to bake his cake the moment he woke up.

For his birthday, he got to go to the store and pick out all of the decorations he wanted.

"Mom, can I get this?" You bet!

He got to choose whatever treat he wanted.

He also decided he wanted a balloon, ok! It was a little rainy and gloomy that day. As it was the day he was born.

He also got to invite his best friend neighbor over for a play date.

These two love each other.

My sweet neighbor even brought over a present.

David said he wanted happy meals so they both had a happy meal chicken nugget lunch.

Can you tell they love hanging out with each other?!

They are so cute and silly together.

Annie even got in on some of the fun.

The balloons provided for great entertainment.

Lilah joined in when she got home from school.

David wanted to have a pinata so we made it happen.

We had filled it with candy from the store. David put lots of candy in his pinata.

Then, it was cake time.

David chose rainbow sprinkles.

Happy birthday to my favorite little boy!

He had an awesome day with friends, treats, and family!

And some random pictures of playing at the park with our church friends. My kids love their friends and I am so grateful for my village helping me raise these kids.

So cute!

Fire Fighter Field Trip

The school catered some delicious homemade donuts to work

They were delicious

Lilah hates hugs. I'm stealing as many hugs as I can before I am forever denied.

David was sick for most of his fun field trips this year.

We got to go to the local fire station.

It was fun to meet all of David's little friends.

This is our friend Collette from church. All of the kids from preschool from the morning shift were there so we got to see her there.

It was a fun time with my little boy.

As you can see from the guy behind us, the firefighters got a call right when the kids were going to use the fire hose. We got to see them in action. Thankfully it was a false alarm so the fire fighters returned and the kids were able to use the fire hose.

Annie hiding from me. She is so dang fun. I love her little smile.

David always asks for a bedtime story before bed.

It was so fun to have some one on one time for a field trip. Love my little boy!
