David's 6th birthday

My favorite little guy turned 6!

The days are numbered of me being able to hold him in my arms and carry him on my hips.

This year we celebrated David's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's

Grandma gifted him skates, and it was his favorite present.

We invited three of his best friends and their families.

Annie and her best friend, Owen.

We invited Castulito, our neighbor, his best friend Abraham and Ethan.

It was such a fun time!

This kid is lucky to have such great friends.

I never take pictures with Robin. I've been trying to remember to take pictures with my friends more often. I'm hardly ever in pictures since I'm always behind my phone.

Cute Annie at church.

David also celebrated his birthday at Grandma's house and we sang happy birthday to him.

David also took goodie bags to take to him classmates. It was a great birthday.
Happiest 6th birthday, David!

Easter

My friend went to Disneyland with her oldest and her youngest stayed with us for the day.

We had a fun time together.

This is Owen. Annie's best friend. They have been best friends since birth and will love on each other, then make each other mad, and then love on each other again.

Treat time with Owen.

Annie was at school in the morning so Owen went with us to Home Depot.

My friend gave us sourdough bread and fresh eggs in exchange for watching Owen. Amazing!

Annie going to school with Lilah. I love that they are together in the same building. They are in classrooms next to each other.

Papa had knee surgery, so we went to check up on him while Marcia was out of town.

Enjoying some YMCA swimming.

I love hanging out with these little ones.

A very expensive brunch date with my girls. They didn't have school today, so I thought It'd be fun to go out for lunch. Man oh man, going out to eat is expensive! We spent $65 and the girls didn't even eat their food.

Another date with my little ones. We went out for some ice cream, yum!

I will be sad for the days when a playground is no longer fun for them. I'm loving these fun ages.

I love that they also love going to the library. I wish our library were bigger, but they have the best activities for the little ones.

My Annie is getting so big! She is the cutest thing I've ever seen and her freckles are my absolute favorite!

I love Easter so much.

For Easter, we went to Marcia's house and had family dinner.

Papa did a quick but beautiful devotional.

Our friends invited us over to their Easter celebration.

She always goes all out and the kids love all of the treats they get.

Our Glauser cousins were there also.

The Easter crew

Mike and I switched our work schedules this year. So now, he works Saturdays and I am off. Since we weren't ready to go home just yet, we drove to the beach to walk through a living Easter recreation. One of the bloggers I follow online posted that her stake was putting on this event and we went to check it out.

Well holy cow, the line was around the entire church building and it took over an hour to get in. It was also a little weird because we were in a richer area and everyone was dressed in really expensive clothes. It was interesting to be in a different tax bracket, ha! ,

The hour line was totally worth it. They went all out! Wow, the props were unreal. I can't even imagine the time and money that went into this. Unfortunately, pictures were not allowed, which allowed me to enjoy it more fully but I wish I could've taken pictures for future inspiration.

My little adventure crew. They used to always have fun with daddy on Saturdays so it's fun that now it's my turn.
