Halloween

Halloween time has become one of my favorite holidays. The weather cools off, everyone decorates their homes, and our community gathers together for one night.

Annie loves to get into my makeup right now. Me: "Annie did you paint your face?" Annie, "NO!"

She was mad but also laughing because she looks ridiculous haha!

Halloween around my neighborhood is the best! My neighbors really go all out.

Houses will gather together and pass out candy.

The kids aren't too scared of the crazy people walking around in the neighborhood.

Sister Terri from church goes all out an makes stuffies for the kid, gives them bags of candies and has games with prices at her house.

Annie had her preschool co-op Halloween party

Last minute Lilah wanted to dress up as a witch so we ran around the house looking for things and came up with this cute costume.

The kids also had a Halloween party at Kung Fu. They love Kung Fu so much. Especially David. He loves to come home and work on his moves.

David at his school's Halloween function.

He made an ofrenda for Papa Walt. Some times I wonder what it would've been like for the kids to know their Papa Walt. He was such a great grandpa.

David has been doing a great job at practicing his reading in Spanish. This kid is so dang smart and such a hard worker.

We have been in our ward now since 2015. That's 10 years! I've watched little kids turn into adults and even some kids in my Sunday school class have gotten married now. My kids love the Stevenson family. They're always asking if they can sit by their family. Which is great because it means less kids fighting in my pew hehe.

The kids also participated in the ward's trunk or treat this month.

Annie loves her bestie Owen so much. They are always looking for each other. It's the cutest.

We watched Kelso and Orion and the kids were playing dress up. I don't know why I keep saying yes to helping others watch their kids when I am so busy. But I don't know, selfishly maybe I just need blessings.

Annie loves her duck lips. She is so much fun and so girly girl.

There were so many fun events to attend this month. Another activity we did was to go to our neighborhood school's Halloween party.

We hopped around to a different school as well and the kids go to play carnival games.

They had a great time doing all of the games. I love our community and how kid friendly it is.

It was a great October!
