I love when I catch these two playing nicely and sharing with each other.
Some days it seems that they just love picking on each other just for fun.
But other days they can be each other's best friends.
I guess that's what siblings do.
Love this picture of David looking at his Firemen book. He loves books about firefighters and construction workers.
We have been cooking alot from home. It has been so delicious. We've been making our own beans, our own icecream, bread, and sometimes even our own tortillas. But my ab muscles are non existent right now so it's going to be a while untile I do that again.
Lilah jumping in to David's bed after his nap.
Love them!
The other day we invited our little neighbor friend over for a play date.
The kids had a great time playing with bubble foam.
They even requested I make them chocolate chip pancakes.
They also enjoyed doing some crafts.
Then Lilah came home and wanted to paint also.
Here's David at my doctor's appointment. He has been my doctor visits buddy throughout this pregnancy. He knows he drill and will take a snack, his water bottle and a book to entertain himself.
Lilah "helping" me decorate for Valentine's Day.
This is the fastest we've ever taken down Christmas.
I knew once it got closer to February that I wouldn't have the time so we took down Christmas the day after and started putting up Valentines.
David helping me make carrot/celery/apple juice.
I love when Lilah is in a cleaning mood. She even spilled water on the floor to get a good cleaning in.
And David loves helping me in the kitchen. He is getting so much better at chopping things and even remembers some recipes.
Lilah will make a mess out of anything she finds. We bought a new bed frame and she found some styrofoam to make "snow" Oh, Lilah!
These Polar Express pictures are backwards, not sure why but here are the kiddos being naughty playing in the front seat while the car was parked at our RV AirBnB.
Pictures inside the train.
Both kiddos really loved seeing Santa. I wasn't sure how David would feel around him but he was all about it!
They played and sang songs on the way to the polar express.
Loved the magic in their eyes as we got to the polar express. They were so excited to say hi to Santa.
Both kids had to wear a mask while in the cart but David wouldn't leave his on for more than a minute or two.
David loved the cookies and milk they handed out.
Love this picture of David's excited face.
My cute, silly, independent, and oh so fierce girl!
David handed the cook his ticket like he had done this many times before.
Some pictures at the train station while we waited to board.
Here's the RV Mike rented for us to stay in. Our neighbors both got RVs and invited us to get one to go on trips with them. It was fun to get to stay in one to see how it felt. Not sure we are ready to purchase one. But maybe one day when the kids are older.
Playdoh activity for Lilah while we unloaded.
We also visited Bearizona. The animals all seemed to be asleep though. It was not quite as fun as the last time when we could almost touch the bison walking by our car.
But, of course my kids loved that they got to drive the car.
We also went and visited the reindeer farm. This has always been a highlight and my kids are still talking abou it.
Santa was there also which was super fun.
Both my kids were brave and fed the deer.
I was amazed at how brave they were around the deer. Not sure that I would be comfortable feeding something that is taller than me.
Hanging out at our RV.
It was very nice to have our own kitchen and bathroom and all of the amenities. I think we might be staying in an RV again.
Michael making breakfast for us.
The best part of our trip was getting to see grandma and grandpa on their mission.
It was like Christmas morning for my kids.
We even got to make a donation on the giving machines. We celebrated Marcia's birthday by having dinner with them at a delicious BBQ place. It was such a great day!
Before we left for the polar express, we went to our ward Christmas party to kick off the Christmas spirit.
I wasn't sure how they'd do around Santa but before I knew it they had both jumped up there and I barely managed to take a picture.
Santa walking in to the cultural center.
It was such a great weekend making memories with my little family.
