Pretend City

Lilah knows the routine when it comes to me leaving for work. She likes to take over for Mike some days. She helps me put on my work shoes, helps me load up my lunch bag and backpack into the car, opens the car for me, gives me a kiss, and waves me good bye. She is so cute about it.

Don't forget my kiss, mom!

Waving me good bye.

This day she even snuck a cookie into my car for me to take with me.

Sometimes David wants to watch a show and I say now, so then he goes and asks Lilah to help him and she always does. And it's so dang cute I can't ever stop them. Love when he goes and asks Lilah for help.

The kiddos love french toast in the morning. Sometimes they even help.

My cute little monkey attached at the hip. I'm going to be so sad the day I can't walk around with him like this anymore.

I feel like we can't ever be home or the kids will just destroy the house. All day I am cleaning after their messes so I try not to be home too much these days. It's a perfect excuse for an adventure day. I saw this ad for a children's museum and we decided to go and check it out.

It was so cute

The kids loved the grocery play area. We spent the majority of time here.

The babies hawling around the little carts were so cute

David is not the best listener so it was a little bit stressful chasing 2 kids around. Thankfully Lilah knows to stay close most of the time which helped when David would ran the opposite way as her.

This was David's favorite, the water tables.

Lilah kept wanting me to go play with her in the doctor's office but David would not budge. He was very stubborn about playing with the little boats. Needless to say he was completely soaked at the end.

They had such cute things for the kids to play with.

Here is Lilah bringing us our food. This was a cute little restaurant.

Lilah even put on an apron and was sweeping the floors.

Lilah pretending to nap while David plays with cars. He loves playing cars. And I love watching him play cars.

Lilah told me to turn around and I turned to this. She is too funny some times.

After the museum, instead of sitting in traffic, we went and played at Crystal Cove Beach.

The kids were tired and whiney and kept fighting. It's hard to parent 2 babies all by yourself sometimes. Wished I had Mike to help me. But we managed to have fun. The kids love playing in the sand.

The kids kept fighting over that dang shovel. It's time to start buying two of each now I guess.

And then David scooped some dirt into the diaper bag, thanks David.

Told Lilah to take a picture of me hauling everything up by myself. The kids had started climbing up the stairs while I was still packing up our stuff and I just crossed my fingers that no one would steal them while I made it to the stairs. Sometimes Lilah being hard of hearing sure makes things difficult.

And a picture of cute little baby David. I love 2 year old David so much.
