Mother's Day

This year I celebrated my first mother's day.  I celebrated Mexican mother's day since I had to work on Sunday. My mom was here for the weekend and we got to hang out with Joel before he moved to Alaska. It was a great weekend visiting with my family and my baby. I have fallen so in love with my baby Lilah.

I love watching her sleep.

I love her smiles.

I love her eyes.

I love dressing her up.

I love how silly she is.

I love how she brings all of us together.

I love how much my mom loves her.

I love that she is a great little traveler.

I love how she is my little buddy.

I love watching her grow and learn new things.

I love how she smiles when people talk to her.

I love how she sleeps most of the night.

I love her sweet little smiles first thing in the morning.

I love how she stops and smiles at me when i'm nursing her.

I love how excited she gets when she sees her daddy and I.

I love how she's a great little eater.

I love when she puts her little hands on my face and brings my face close to her.

I love when she lays her head against my face.

I love how she cuddles up to me when I sit her next to me.

I love what an easy baby she is.

And most of all, I love that she is mine forever.

I love you so much, Lilah!!

Aztec Falls

The other day I woke up from my post work nap and Mike wanted to go on a hike. He found a hike up by Lake Arrowhead so we packed up our bags and jumped in the car.

It was kind of hard to find and the road was so narrow I was sure we would hit the car passing us. Once we finally got up there I could've believe how pretty it was.

It was a little hidden gem for sure!

In the reviews it said that there were rocks people would jump off of. Even though we didn't make it quite that far, there were still plenty of places to take a dip in the water.

Lilah loves being in her carrier and enjoying the views while we do all the work ;)

I loved her cute face in all of these pictures. Couldn't pick just one.

I love my smiley girl!

Happy hiker

It was a little crazy getting down the cliff into the water.

Since we had gotten there a little late, we didn't go all the way to the spot were people normally jump off the rocks.

It was definitely not a kid friendly walk down the rocks but we made it.

It was so pretty. Even had a natural water slide.

Thankfully Lilah was all smiles through it all.

Not sure if this was a happy smile or an i'm hungry smile, hehe!

We will definitely be coming back for sure!
