2 months old

Our little sweet heart is 2 months old. Man time is sure flying. Every day I fall deeper and more in love with her. Her smiles every morning just make me feel so loved. She is such a smiley and happy girl. We are so lucky to have such a good baby. She has become my little buddy. Before I got pregnant I was worried that I would be bored being home with a baby all day but, that is not the case. I LOVE being home with Lilah. She usually sleeps most of the day. Some days I'm more tired than others and choose to just lay down next to her. Other days I try to get some things done around the house or work on some projects. I've learned that everything takes longer and more planning with a baby. She wakes up to eat every 2 hours. By the time I change her and feed her and pump I have about 1 hour to do stuff before we start our routine all over again. No wonder the days are just flying! Goodness I sure love my little chick!

This is the first time I took Lilah out on a walk. It was a beautiful day. I was so out of shape even going around the neighborhood on a walk felt like a challenge. I was definitely reminded that a c-section is no little procedure. Every day I'm starting to feel a little more like myself.

This was one of the first big outings that we did. Jill and her family were in town for vacation and we went with them to the Griffith observatory. Things are definitely different with a baby. I had to find a changing table and find a table in the corner so I could hide and feed her. So far I think we are getting used to a slower paced life with a baby.

I just love it when she crosses her legs like this when she is laying down.

Sleeping in her swing. She is starting to pay more attention to things around her that make sounds so she really likes it when I turn on the music and the birds mobile.

I love that she always smiles when I talk to her. It's like she understands me when I'm playing with her.

This picture goes along with one of my favorite videos of all time. She was just starting to find her voice but this days she was SO talkative. I'm so glad I was able to catch it on video.

Even smiles in her sleep.

Her hands are always cold because she refuses to have her arms swaddled. We have started to just put mittens or socks on her hands to keep them warm. It looks like she has 4 legs in this picture :)

So little!

I get to wake up to this happy face every morning and I love it!

She doesn't lay like this on me very often because she love to be looking around. She is starting to hold her head up for longer and longer each time. She just wants to see what is going on around her at all times.

It's so fun to play dress up with a little girl! I love browsing through etsy and wishing I had every bow, dress, and accessory. My first check when I go back to work will all go towards accessorizing this cutie!

One of the few times when she laid calmly on me like this.

Her little face is already changing and looking more mature. She is definitely looking more like her daddy.

We haven't gone out very much because it's been windy, cold, or raining. The other day we had beautiful weather so we went and walked downtown Redlands and had some delicious pozole at a Mexican food place.

Lilah was way more interested in the bright ceiling than in taking a picture

My little sleeping angel.

I just love watching her sleep

She is not the biggest fan of the car seat when the car is not running. As soon as she is strapped in she will cry. Once the car is going she is all smiles.

Trying to take some Valentines pictures but all she wanted was so chew on her hands

We're still working on getting some meat on those thighs and legs.

The other day we went out with my friend Natalie and her kids to the park. She was such a good content girl. Feeding in public is still...interesting to say the least.

I love her sleepy squishy face!

When she starts to fall asleep at night she does this thing where she wants her binky and then she will moan and groan while rubbing her eyes.

I love when she sleeps with her owlet. It gives me such a piece of mind. Except this little chick kicks so much she at least takes it off once during the night. Thankfully it's all false alarms and nothing has ever happened. I have always been so scared of SIDS so I love the owlet. I still have her close by at nights but when she moves to her crib we will definitely be using it religiously.

This girl hit a little growth spurt and is getting taller! Her newborn onesies not only finally fit but are starting to fit small!

I've been trying to have her wear all of her winter and newborn clothes because I have a feeling she'll be outgrowing them very soon.

Pigeon feet :)

When you have a blowout that goes all up your back, your get bathed

This little chick has been sleeping 4 hours at night!

Usually Lilah wakes up to eat every 2 hours but at night she skips one feeding and sleeps for 4 hours straight, yippy! I'll take what I can get!

Marcia has been taking her once a week for a couple of hours to give me a little break. She told me that when she drinks from a bottle, she is now drinking 2 oz!

Her hair has also been growing out. I cut her hair when she was one month old. I cut the hair in the back that was a little longer and some hair at the top that was longer also.

As you can see by the spiky hair on top, she has a little patch of hair that just grows faster and thicker than the rest of her head.

Her hair is still brown but it sometimes look lighter to me. I think it will probably stay brown.

Her eyes are in between a dark green and brown. I'm assuming they will start to turn brown.

Lilah's little feet are still so small for shoes. All she wears right now is socks. It's going to be so fun when she starts wearing shoes.

I love her big gummy smile!

And her little chicken legs

Her little two month old outfit

She is so cute when I'm feeding her. I love how she will just stare into my eyes. It's like she's saying, thank you, mommy.

One of my friends gave me the TINIEST onesies at my baby shower. I thought they would only fit her maybe a day or two. Turns out it was the only thing that fit right for the first two months. Now her little belly stretches the fabric.

Happy 2 months my sweet baby girl!
