Friendsgiving 2017
One of my friends who moved up north came down for the Holidays to spend time with her family.
When we were all newlyweds we would hang out at her place and get together to play games.
Since she was coming down we decided to have a little get together.
We had done this before but the crowd just keeps getting larger each year!
It was so fun to meet all of the knew babies.
It's so fun watching all of the little families grow.
All of the girls
The girls and the babies
We were there for hours enjoying everyone's company. I am so thankful for good friends that you can see after years and pick up right where you left off!
Joshua Tree
I had always wanted to go to Joshua Tree.
I remember always seeing the signs when I would drive to San Bernardino.
I finally had the opportunity to go and we decided to make a little family trip out of it.
Our first stop was this famous skull rock.
It was such a cool place with all of these awesome rock formations.
There were plenty of rocks to climb.
We decided to take a small little trail and see what the desert had to offer.
Lilah was loving the ride. She was going around waving at everyone who would pass by.
The sunset here was unbelievable
Lilah giving mommy some love!
Hi!
Happy girl exploring!
The rocks were so cool. They had what seemed to be veins in them.
Things got even more amazing as the sun started descending.
I love those little rays of lights that would sneak into the pictures.
As we were wondering around, there were signs that told you the name of the rocks. There was one called the face rock. I kept telling Michael that it was the rock in front of us but he couldn't see it. We argued for like 10 minutes as I was trying to show him where the nose was. It kind of looked like a half moon but I could see the chin, the mouth, the nose, and the eye. Atleast I thought I could.
As we kept walking we discovered that THIS was the face rock. Haha! All of that arguing for nothing, hehe!
Gotta kiss the Face after all the trouble it gave us.
Gosh I sure love this girl!
Seriously the coolest rocks.
We finally made our way back.
The sunset at the desert is pure magic!
Look at those colors!
I made Michael pull over so we could watch the sunset together.
It was another fun adventure with my family
