California Vacation

This past week we were able to crash my cousin's family vacation. I was so happy that they were able to come over to this neck of the woods and I was more than delighted when they asked if they could stay at our house, ofcourse! I love this family and It's fun now that Marsix and I are both married and with hubbies to go out together. I feel that we have gotten a lot closer now and I love it! I mean, we've always been like sisters but now things are just different now that we're married, they're better. We can plan our own dates, trips and hang out without curfews or parents to have to drive us here and there. The past couple of times we have talked about going on a vacation just the Castillos and the Stewarts, I really hope it happens some day because Mike and I really enjoy hanging out with Marsix and Alex.
But anywho, this week my aunt, uncle, Marsix and Alex came on their California Vacation. No matter were we are we always have a great time. My aunt and uncle are hilarious and it's impossible not to smile when you are around them.  I was able to meet them at their first stop at the Crystal Cove beach. It was Vanellope's first beach trip. One thing we learned about Vanellope, is that she does not like beaches, ha! Maybe in a couple of years she'll change her mind.

After the beach they wanted to go and check out the Newport Beach Temple. I had never been there. I learned that it had been mostly funded by the members around there because they wanted to have a temple close by. Pretty cool. I guess if you live in Newport you have a couple of dollars to spare, hehe.
Marsix and Alex requested Chick Fil A for dinner, don't mind if I do!

My uncle LOVES his electronics! Can ya tell?

The next day my aunt wanted to go to the Fashion District in LA to check out some fabric for Ashley's QuinceaƱera. It was a little hot but the Paletero was there to save the day.

I was really craving some fruit with chilli powder and when we turned the corner we found the holy grail! Totally worth a little heat

After walking around LA for a while Marsix and Alex wanted to go to an Angel's game. It was my first time ever going. These guys sure know how to have a good time!

Such a cute little family!

Vanellope is such a good girl, so cute too!

Footsies any one?

The Angels won! Woohoo! At the end they had a fireworks show

After the game my Tia wanted some Mexican food and Mike found the perfect hole in the wall. Great way to end the day!

Such a fun experience to be able to go to a major league game. We had such a great weekend with the family, we need to vacation with the Zazuetas and Castillos a lot more often!
