Nursing School Graduation

The day has finally come. I am done with nursing school! (for now) I thought i'd have all this time to catch up on life after nursing school but i'm busy catching up on the past 18 months of my life. Hence the reason I haven't blogged in over a year :) I still haven't passed my NCLEX, i'm still waiting for my letter to arrive in the mail. I've been working on getting my certifications. So far I am ALC certified and in a couple of weeks hopefully I can get IV certified. I've been working alot lately. I don't really know what to do with myself being home all day. And cleaning gets old pretty fast hehe. But for now I am content with myself. I'm trying not to get over excited because I know I still have to get my RN, but I don't want to think about that for now. All that's on my mind is trying to pass my NCLEX exam so I can apply to nursing school again.

This is Schyler, aka "Pampered Princess" I met some great people in nursing school and I'm glad to say Schy and i became good friends. Thanks for always sharing your treats with me during long lecture days Schyler :)

This is Laura, she's my mentor. She has taken under her wing at work. Ever since I started working at the hospital she has taught me so much. She started in ICU as a secretary just like me and has worked her way up to being the best RN. I hope to one day be the kind of nurse that she is. I'm so thankful she came out of her way to share such a special day with me

Thanks mom for coming to my graduation. It's because of the amazing example you have been for me all of my life. I want to make you proud and I hope that you get to be with me in many more of my successes.
This would be my favorite "guera" aka my partner in crime in nursing school. I don't know how we would've survived without each other. While everyone was busy stressing out about finals, gossiping about each other and being dramatic, Jess and I were busy giggling under our desks trying not to get in trouble. We got to know each other so well through out these months and were there for each other when life got rough. We made so many memories and have so many inside jokes... We even finished each other's sentences hahah....Scary! I love you JessiTA :)

Here's Mr President and Mrs. Vice President

These are my girls. Jessica (left) has given birth to a beautiful baby girl and Danielle (right) has a bun in the oven...congrats you too!!

Thank you so much to every one who came and shared this special day with me. It was such a great graduation!

And to my sweet husband. Thank you for going through this journey with me. You were my rock through out all the stress, tears, joys, you were there beside me the whole time. Thank you for always pushing me to finish what i thought was impossible. For helping me keep going every time I wanted to give up. For your patience with me dragging my careplans and books every where with me. For watching Netflix with your earphones on so you wouldn't disturb me while I studied. For waking up early to make me breakfast as I ran out on my way out to clinicals. For taking my backpack to school when I left my brain and homework at home the day it was due. For putting up with a cranky stressed out wife for 18 months and still loving me through out this entire journey. I owe this success to you! I love you with all my heart and everything good that has happened to me was because you were right there beside me. I love you Michael!!!
