Expiration Dates

Expiration dates suck. On your milk, yogurt, but specially on your Disneyland pass. Since Marcia and Katie's pass was about to expire we needed to get the last trip out of Disneyland. It was a little warm but we made the best out of it.
First stop was the Cars Store. Odin loves that store and he's so cute looking around getting excited at all the cars around him. The hard part is trying to get him out of there. Aren't these two so cute together. Odin LOVES Michael.

Little Ridge was such a trooper too.

We decided to go into California Adventure first and go to Cars Land, little O's fave.

Then we went to ride the "bumper wheels" or atleast that's what they were. It was all of ours first time and we spent half the time trying to figure out how to work the thing, hillarious!

We decided to do single rider for the racer cars since the line is 10K long. It was so perfect. It literally took 10 minutes to walk unto the car. Here's little O cooling off under a fan waiting for his Mama and Marcia to get off the racer cars.
Odin is such a great climber!
These are by far my favorite pictures of the night, Mother and Son... so stinkin' cute!
He was having SUCH a great time on the Tea Cups
All Smiles :D

Katie bought Odin this McQueen hat and he loved it so much he actually kept it on the rest of the night. He looked so cute wearing it.

Disneyland has been so good to us this year, but summer is around the corner and our Disney days limited with this 100 degree weather. Maybe Mike and I can squeeze a couple of more late night Disney dates until the heat becomes too unbearable. Oooh good ol' California weather :)

Bahamas

Happy Early Anniversary to us!/ Happy late birthday to me/ Happy nursing school graduation:D I had been looking forward to this vacation for so long! I've always wanted to go to Bahamas and it finally came true. I always looked at the pictures online and it looked so pretty... and it sure didn't dissapoint! The first day we got to Florida we spent the day in Miami beach... It was beautiful! I've never seen such a clean beach with soft sand and clear water.

Mike and I always joke about the housecleaning people. Every time we would get out of our room to get a snack when we would come back our room was clean...what?! We call them the housecleaning ninjas, because they're hiding in our closet and jump out every time we leave our room :)

And ofcourse the food. We ate and ate and ate like the food would ever finish. It was delicous!
Norwegian Sky

Our first stop was Freeport Harbour. There's not much to do here so I had read about a couple of things to do on the web. We decided not to do excursions on this cruise because everything we wanted to do was $100 a person or more.

So we got on a taxi and headed to Taino Beach.
It was BEAUTIFUL

We got to use the paddle boat, kayak and got free chairs to sit on (which they charged us in every beach we went to) We got to play in the beach for only $5 a person which included free shower and bathrooms (which also cost money at other beaches)

There were so little people there it was fantastic! Mike and I had taken some snorkeling equipment so while Mike snorkeled I went on the Kayak

I couldn't get over how pretty this beach was!

We spent every second playing in the water. Time flew by! I was sad we had to leave

Junkanoo Beach Club you were SOO good to us!

Then it was time to head back to the boat.

This boat was not like the last one and it had "free style" dining meaning there wasn't a set time for you to have dinner. I missed that from the last boat because dinner was so elegant and delicious. On this boat if you wanted fancy food you had to pay. But it was nice not having to get ready every time for dinner. They had sit down places you could dine for free, so we decided to do that once or twice.

Nights on the boats were fun, there was always good music, we went and took salsa lessons, watched a comedy show, musicals, and lots of other fun things.
The second day was Nassau, Bahamas. We decided to jump on a taxi for a tour. Our tour guide was great. There were 8 of us on this tour and every one was so nice. The water again was beautiful.

We went and did some sight seeing in Nassau and visited some historical places like this castle, which was made to look like a boat and scare the enemy away. I would tell you the name but I already forgot hehe.

Then we went and visited the Queen's stair case which was supposed to represent the Bahamian people's freedom. Lots of stairs to climb. But it's okay because we had to work off all that food we ate on the boat

Then we visited Atlantis: The Lost City, or atleast the water park that is. SOO beautiful there. Too bad it would've been over 200 dollars just to go inside because it was gorgeous.

We decided to go to a beach right next to Atlantis. The waves were a little rough so I opted out and let Mike snorkel while I layed out for a bit. I was scared to get burned from being on the sun all day so I would make sure Mike and I were soaked before leaving the boat. Needless to say we didn't get much of a tan, but atleast we didn't burn. Gotta take care of my pasty ;)

The third day was Great Stirrup Cay, which is an Island owned by Norwegian Cruises. Man they sure know how to have fun! There was so much to do on the island and the buffet was right there. I was worried that there would be so many people since every one was going to get off the boat but there were so many things to do on the beach that there was pleny of room to swim.

The day was a little cloudy, which was fine because it was still 80 degrees and the water felt delicious.

Mike and I couldn't get out of the water!

We had SOO much fun snorkeling here!
I think Mike must've been in the water for 4 hours straight. I don't blame him it was perfect!

Here we are snorkeling. When we got to the pretty fish unfortunately we had ran out of film in our camera, but it was like an aquarium down there. And the water was so clear you could see everything. At one time it started sprinkling. It sprinkled for like 20 minutes and everyone left the beach. When it stopped sprinkling we nearly had the entire beach to ourselves, it was AWESOME! And Mike and I did not want to get out. Every time I got out to dry off I ended jumping back in and doing some more snorkeling with Mike.

I LOVED this place!

The beach was so pretty

On the last day we had a couple of hours before our plane left so we took the metro and hung out in Vizcaya, Florida. We found a museum of an old mansion that had beautiful gardens.

We haden't even gone in yet and it was already so pretty

It was so pretty here we were taking pictures left and right. Here I am, can you see me on top?

I wish this was my back yard!

This place was so big, it took us forever to go through the garden. I LOVE museums with old stuff, makes me wonder what it was like walking through these grounds a hundred years ago.

We took lots of pictures at this place, I couldn't get over how beautiful this guy's back yard was!

It was a perfect way to end our vacation. We absolutely loved the Bahamas. Florida has the best beaches I have ever seen. Mike and I definately did not want to come home!
