Children's museum

Mike and I work opposite schedules so that one of us is always with the kids. This helps with baby sitting and it would be hard to take the kids to someone else's house early in the morning and have to get them ready for school before I leave for work at 5:30 am.
But, that makes it a little hard to take the kids out all by myself.

On this day, I took the kids to Irvine Children's museum since the kids were off of school.

Unfortunately, everyone else also thought the same thing so it was a bit crowded.

It was a bit chaotic and the kids kept walking away from me without letting me know so I was just looking for my kids the entire time.

Especially Annie who walks away from me and doesn't even let me know.

This museum is always so cute though and there's so much for the kids to do.

Since the Olympics were going on, they had a little Olympics section and Annie was broadcasting the Archery.

The gymnastics section

Annie has a terrible time sharing right now and can be mean to kids so she is a hard, but typical, two year old.

I love when the kids play dress up.

The kids spent a good time at the restaurant making food for people.

David loved this car repair shop.

The dentist and his assistant.

So many interactive and hands on activities for the kids to play with.

Primary summer kick off

The library has been our saving grace this summer. There is always some fun activity going on.

On this particular day they had a mobile fossil museum

The kids thought the fossils were pretty fun

We also had our annual primary summer kick off. The kids have so much fun. I am still part of the primary team. I am the second counselor so it's fun to plan these events for our kids.

We have quite a bit of kids in primary so it makes for a fun party. Everyone always contributes so the food is yummy also.

The primary president bought a snow cone machine and it is always a hit.

The bishop has a big back yard so we used his house. The first counselor bought this slip and slide and it's big enough for all of the primary kids.

I love our ward so much. I remember when we were looking at houses in Beaumont, we visited this ward to make sure we liked it. Everyone was so kind that we fell in love with the ward and were so happy to buy a house within the ward boundaries.

The sign of a good time, haha!

It is not often that Mike and I have a day off together, so when we do, we always have a family adventure day. Mike always takes the kids out and does fun stuff with them, but it's fun to go out all together.

We decided to go to a new beach this time. We did not like it. It was full of bums haha! We definitely won't be going back again.

People also started fishing RIGHT in front of us which was quite annoying. I was worried the kids would get hurt if they got in the water so David couldn't ride the waves like he likes to do.

The only fun thing about people fishing right in front of us is that the kids kept catching the dead fish the fishermen were using.

Catching the dead fish in a bucket.

Hanging out with cousins at grandma and papa's.

David and Annie are so cute together.

Audiology appointments for Lilah. They are such a pain in the butt and Lilah hates them. I can't take Annie so I have to find a sitter and the results are always "inconclusive" because Lilah just screws around the whole time.

Killing time during summer vacation is quite the job. Here we are having a picnic at the park.

Annie was born to be in front of the camera!

The kids helping put lunches together. I LOVE when they are helpful!
