Sea World

We got passes to Sea World so we've been trying to go more often to get our money's worth.

I always feel bad going because the animals are confined into such small spaces but the kids have a great time and learn more about the marine life.

I mean, one day I hope my kids sea a Baluga whale but for now they can learn about them through Sea World.

These animals are so incredibly smart. All animals area really. It's so sad that we confine them for entertainment. But here I am also contributing to the cause, woops.

This Walrus made me realize how ginormous they really are. Poor thing kept just swimming in circles.

Checking out the otters. I love their Antarctica area.

The Orca show is incredible. These animals are amazing. I have the kids watch National Geographic all the time so we can learn more about them. I can't believe how unbelievable these animals are and we are just trashing our beautiful planet earth.

Someone volunteered to take a picture of me and the kids and how could I turn them down.

It's incredible how they can train dolphins as well. This makes me super sad to see how they keep them in the tiniest swimming pools. I wish they would do better.

The kids love the children area, although I'm always losing a kid.

Fun day with my kids :)

San Diego Zoo

Park dates with these kids are the best. They are still little enough that they get excited about going to a new park. Thankfully, we live in a very kid friendly community where there are more parks than we can count. David loves this park because he is learning how to do the monkey bars.

I got to teach a class in the evening and so I took Cristian lunch like the good old days.

Annie ready for school in her Uber ride. I always get so nervous when I send her off thinking I'm doing something wrong but thankfully she has been safe and has enjoyed school so far.

My friend took her son to Disney and so we watched her youngest while they were away. Owen is Annie's best friend and I love watching them together.

He doesn't love staying with many people but he will go wherever Annie goes.

When the kids got home from school, we went to the park to play. I love living across the street from the playground.

The besties

We had some fun while the kids were at school in the morning too.

The next day, we went to the Zoo

I love the kids ages right now and how excited they get to go to zoos.

Annie riding the tram with daddy.

I always feel so bad about going to zoos, especially when I see the animals in cages instead of living freely in the wild. But, my kids have really learned about animals and the importance of respecting them. I always want them to take care of the animals and their planet and know that their actions have consequences in this world.

We almost forgot to snap a family picture on our way out.

I love when these two kids get along so much! They are always fighting but when they play together, it's pure magic.

The cutest smile. He reminds me so much of me when I was little. Lilah on the other hand, is a mini Mike.

Family picture at the Zoo, thanks to a kind stranger.
