Disney pass

My Disney pass is about to expire! Waaa too bad the happiest place on earth keeps raising their prices. My friend Jessica (same nursing program, also a disneyland fan, and happens to be mormon) went with me before my pass expired. Its funny how we went through CNA school together not knowing we were mormon. When we started school we just happened to sit together, and now shes my school buddy, mormons attract! Anyways jess and i had a great time. Whe she said wed be leaving at 730 i was a little hesitant, ok alot hesitant. But it was SO worth it!! we walked unto every ride.. NO LINES! i went on the toy story ride for the first time ever because the line was not 2 hrs long this time.. Loved it!! Its my favorite now no crowds what so ever, it was the best Disneyland day ever! we went on every ride we could think of. maybe i should save up my pennies because we definately need a repeat! Thanksgiving 2011

For thanksgiving this year i had to work, yuck! Mikes family went to utah to celebrate with grandma nielson, jealous! I felt bad for Mike because i didnt want him to go through thanksgiving without a thanksgiving feast, so i made him a thanksgiving lunch! instead of cooking turkey or a ham for just the two of us, Mike just bbqed chicken. I made green bean casserole, home made mashed potatose, pasta salad, deviled eggs, green salad, hawaiian rolls and apple crisp with vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was very yummy! Since i had the weekend off we went and celebrated thanksgiving with my mom. We had ham and lots of yummy sidesthank goodness for holidays and being able to take some time out of our hectic lives to be with our Families. I am so thankful for my family, my wonderful loving best friend and husband, for me and my families health along with lots and lots of other things. Happy thanksgiving!

Oak Glen

Mike and i finally went for my first time. I really wanted to pick out a little pumpkin to decorate my door and i heard there was food and fun in Oak Glen. It was alot of fun! The food was Delicious! When we first got there you could smell delicious corn so we made sure to head there first, it was so good. Then we walked around and looked at the shops they had there. After walking around, our noses found a bbq place so we had to try it. The line was ginormous but we waited patiently in line. Mike and i took turns being in line whole the other went and looked at the antique shop. When we finally placed our order we found out we had to make another line to get our food. Since we were a couple numbers away we went and got some caramel apples. (Lots of delicious eating on this trip. ) after finding a place to sit and eating our pulled bbq pork sandwhiches we went in search of a pumpkin. They had a ton of pumpkins to choose from and after some looking we found one we liked. I wished we couldve had more time to hang out but i had to hurry and get home for work. Were definately making Oak Glen a yearly trip from now on!
