First Anniversary

I can't believe how fast time has gone by. I can't believe that Michael and i have grown even closer and have gotten to known each other so much more. He is just such an incredible husband and I love him so much. I am happy that we made the right decision to get married in the San Diego Temple for time and all eternity.

Some Things I love about Mike:

-He thinks i'm better and smarter than i really am
-He is nice to EVERYONE
-If i'm having a bad day he has something funny to say/dance to cheer me up
-He massages my feet even though he just got home from a long day at work
-He has a strong testimony and always honors his priesthood
-He helps others without being asked
-He always wants to know what I think
-He bought me a beautiful house and works hard to provide for our needs
-He always pushes me to be better
-He thinks i'm beautiful no matter what i'm wearing
-Every single day before going to work he gives me a kiss and tells me he loves me
-He picked ME to spend forever with

I couldn't have chosen any one more perfect for me. He is my everything. I can't imagine life without him now that I actually met him. I look forward to growing old together. I told Mike he's not ever allowed to die before me, I just couldn't live with that. Adoro a mi ojitos de cielo!

Here are some Randome pictures of us:

Where it all started: Mike and I met in Institute because we were both in the council. I thought he was a geeky boy when i first saw him but because i'm so nice i wanted to be everyone's friend so we started talking. This was to his advantage. Apparently he had already had his eyes set on me before this Institute overnighter.
This was one of the first dances we went to. It was a traffic light dance. Green was for single. Yellow was for dating and Red was for taken. We were both wearing green. This was also to his advantage. I believe this was were he got my cell phone number. From here we started texting. Then he started giving me rides to church firesides and activities.

This was one of the "activities" he gave me a ride to. It was a 66ers game.

Then he started coming over to my house and go swimming with my roomates. He started coming over and hanging out with us more and more.

Finally he decided to ask me to be his girlfriend after like 4 months! This was our first Valentines day. Funny story. He texted me to find out my address a month before and i didn't think anything of it so i didn't pay attention to see if i gave him the right address. Apparently I haden't and on valentines day a lady and her son came to my door and said here, these are your flowers. I was so confused, Umm thanks? 5 minutes later Mike walked into my door and said a lady a couple of apartments down had gotten my flowers. Thankfully she was nice and called the number on the box. Mike talked to her and told her the correct apartement number. He had to come over and make sure the lady had really delivered them. He still laughs at me till this day for giving him my wrong apartment number.

At marsix's farewell party. My family all has been very nice to michael and have made him part of the family. I love that!

Sometimes I think Michael is not listening but he always is. One day I was going off about how i've never gone fishing. The next day Mike took me to get a new fishing pool and bate and we went fishing and riding up the mountain. He's such a good listener.

Fun times driving to my mom's with Michael. I love that I can be myself (a total goofball) around him.
Mike making me breakfast on a saturday morning. Usually this is what i wake up to every Sunday morning.

I love that Michael is always making me try new things. I didn't think it was that fun to ride on a quad, then he couldn't get me off it.

This is a honey moon picture. We spent a week at Huntington. Here we are driving a tandem bike by the beach.

We went to Disneyland and had dinner for one of our honey moon nights. I saw these cute hats and had to take a picture of us.
For Michael's birthday we went to Universal Studios. I can't believe we've spent 3 birthdays together. Crazy
This is a dating picture. Like I said, I can be a total dork around him and he still loves me.
Disneyland. While we were daring Mike bought me a Disneyland pass which we used quite often. We love going ever chance we get. Here he is kicking my butt on buzz.
Michael is hillarious. He's always making me laugh even when i'm supposed to be in a grouchy mood I just can't.

Dad has most of our engagement pictures on his computer but I found this one. He did such a great job. I should post more. This was is so cute. Love it!
I love my Michael with all my heart! I still get so excited when he walks in the door from work. I'm so lucky i'm' in love with my best friend!! <3<3

Javy's wedding

My best guy friend in highschool hot hitched! So happy for him. We shared such great memories, duets, and laughs in highschool. I was so excited that he had found the girl to spend the rest of his life with. Mike and i made a weekend trip down to be there for the special day. At the reception it was like a highschool reunion. I loved seeing all my old band geek friends, and i was amazed to see how much they drink now and how much fatter we all have gotten :-D
Kinda hard to see the pictures cause my iphone didnt do well with the "mood lighting"

This is Alex. As you can see by the goofy face hes pretty crazy guy. We spent most of pur highschool years together from mutual, band early practice, morning seminary, school, band sectionals after school, football games, school and church dances. We got to know each other pretttty well

After the party we went out for dessert
Since we didnt want to go across the border to spend the night and then cross again for church we just rented a hotel. In the morning we met my mom at church. Since we were hungry and again didnt want to cross the border just to have lunch we went to home town buffet.joel came back with us and for the first time drove back the whole way. Its nice to have such an enthusiastic driver with his permit drive us around ;) BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BirthDAY

Michael turned the big 2-6 this year. This is the third birthday i have shared with him. I remember going over to his house for his 24th. I didnt want to go because i didnt know anybody and there was always a ton of people at his house. Now its so much different and i love it. Its nice to know ALL those people. But anyways, mikes birthday fell on a tuesday so we werent able to do much. Though i worked monday till midnight i was happy to wake up at 5 and cook him some birthday breakfast. Mike woke up in a great mood by the way. Maybe it was cause he woke up to the smell of breakfast.

I also made him an extra delicious lunch when he came home. Mike was all smiles and i knew he was having a great day because he wouldnt stop talking :-D he was just happy that i "went all out" for him
After work i asked where he wanted to go eat, after thirty minutes of "i dont know ill go wherever" we went to Rosamaria's. It was Joels first time, good stuff as usual

For mutual i baked some Brownies to celebrate "brother stewarts" birthday

Finally our night ended with taking funny mutual boys home. Its fun to see how much the boys like michael. Theyre always following him around everywhere. We were all laughing so hard i couldnt get a good picture. It was a fun night.

I will later post pictures of michaels birthday luau i threw him. BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

Busy weekend

This past weekend was very busy and fun. Saturday morning mike and i met the youth at the church for a full day in San Diego since we only needed a van and a car only mike bishop and i went as leaders. ( i drove cause i needed to be back early) most of the girls drove up with me and we had alot of fun in the car. First stop was the temple.
I was hoping a bride would come out so the girls could see but they were all taking their sweet time. Oh well :)
i cant believe its been a year that we were all busy taking pictures outside the temple. One year down many more to go

Next we went to the mormon batallion. None of the youth had been there before so that was fun.
Next we went to a park in old town to eat our lunch. I love san diegos perfect weather and beautiful homes. Heres mike by a statute at the park
Then after eating our picnics we headed to La Jolla beach. I had to leave early and go to work. I got out of work around 10pm and called my aunt from vegas since she had left me a message to call her back. I called her back and she told me my uncle was called as bishop and was gonna be set apart the next morning, so at 1030pm we headed to las Vegas. We got there about 230 but it was worth to be with my family on such a special moment. We all pretty much cried the whole time. The sacrament ended with the song, ill go where you want me to go, which was the cherry on top. It made me very happy to see the congregation lined up to congratulate the new and old bishop. They couldnt even start the sunday school class because everyone wanted to congratulate my aunt and uncle. I know that my cousin marsix being on her mission has brought alot of blessings to them and has made them stronger. I always thought that in a way converts are stronger than us "regulars" im proud of my uncle for the man that he is, being faithful to his priesthood and serving in the church. My aunt is still surprised because she thought he was gona get released. But shes now in for the ride as much as he is.
So that was all for this weekend. Alot of fun, driving and family.
With all the commotion i forgot to take pictures on sunday, oh well. BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop
