April Weekend

This past weekend was my first weekend off in a while. I really wanted to live it up. Friday we were supposed to work on the sprinklers and go to Disneyland. Fail and fail. Mother nature decided we were done working on the yard for the day. And after working on the yard all morning we were too tired to go to d-land. Instead we lounged around the house and Michael decided it was bed time at 5 pm since he'd been awake since 10pm the day before. Thankfully after 2 hrs of sleep he took me to the movies to see HOP. Fail. It was such a dumb movie, I thought it would be cute like Despicable me. We went for the 7 o'clock showing but it was already sold out. Fail. So we got tickets to 9 pm and decided to go get some frozen yogurt. We got to a place but didn't have seats so we drove around for 30 minutes to go to one we new had seats, but it was closed. Fail. So we went back to the original got some yogurt and headed to see dumb HOP. Thankfully the next day mike put some sprinklers in, I was able to do lexis hair for prom, and we went to visit my family in Mexicali. Conference

This year I was really excited and happy for conference and it wasn't just because I get to have a day off from church and have crepes for breakfast, but I was really eager to hear what our leaders were going to speak to us about and the council they would have. Saturday morning session I was so eager that I slept in and missed it. I know, I know but my excuse was that I worked the night before and I thought mike was gonna wake me up, so I was upset about that. Later on we went to amys house and all the marrieds got together for a delicious brunch. Sunday morning we went to moms and had crepes. I did a better job waking up that time ;) the talks that were give were great. I'm so thankful for a living prophet. And though I don't go around telling people "my church is better than yours" you can bet I'm thinking it BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. sprinklers

Our latest house project is getting more grass in the front yard. I didn't mind the wood chips but mike really wanted grass and the yard is his thing so, ok.
So there he was at 12 pm he decided to go rent a tiller from home depot and at 1 in the afternoon was out there working on the yard, what a crazy. But somehow (after eating my coconut) I was out there tilling manuer and dirt while he went and bought more poop.
Hopefully tomorrow dad will come and help him put sprinklers in so he can put grass seed in and we can stop being the ghetto house in our culdesac BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

5 pounds

This year I turned 22! Crazy how time flies. I have so many new things happen in my life these past year that I am not the same person any more. I have a stronger testimony of the gospel. I am more responsible. I am married. I bought my first car. I bought my first home. I got a new job. It was definitely a year of "firsts" I love life and am grateful for the family and blessings that I have. Working in a hospital were the morgue comes for people sometimes twice in one night makes me really grateful to have been able to enjoy life for one more year.
Birthday number 22 was very delicious. For my birthday week I probably gained like 5 lbs. I ate so much delicious food it was so great. First I started the week with dinner with the girls at olive garden. Bread sticks and endless soup.. Yum!
For my birthday morning mike took me to Ihop
That afternoon we went to el torito and that was very delicious too. We went out to eat the rest of the week too.
For my birthday present Michael got me the bracelet I wanted. I was very excited. I love my new bracelet :)
I hope that next year will be full of "firsts" also and that'll I'll have a great year just like 2010. I know it'll be a busy fun year that's for sure BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

No more curfews

Married life is great. No more curfews. We can invite friends over. Go on random dates come home late, leave home early. Go on trips and not have to find mike a place to sleep other than by me. My favorite part is inviting our married friends over for game nights and barbecues. This pic was one night that I really felt like cooking a feast. It was delicious and alot of fun.
